Le compte officiel X (anciennement Twitter) de Call of Duty et Treyarch Studio ont abandonné un teaser alléchant le 12 mars 2025. L'image? Un manoir endommagé, englouti dans les flammes et la fumée noire inquiétante. La légende? "Personal Log. Edward Richtoften Recording ..." avec le hashtag #zombies. Le retour d'Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, un personnage clé de Call of Duty: Cold War (et une partie importante du remake de Black Ops 6 ), est un spectacle bienvenu.

Des fans aux yeux forts ont identifié l'emplacement comme le manoir de Liberty Falls, qui se déroule en février 1991, comme indiqué dans l'image teaser. Cette chronologie s'aligne parfaitement avec le récit de la précédente carte des zombies de Black Ops 6 , la tombe, faisant allusion à une continuation directe de l'histoire.
