Battlecruisers is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a bang! The developers at Mecha Weka have unleashed the most significant update yet, dubbed the ‘Trans Edition.’ This update enriches the game with a plethora of new single-player and multiplayer content, enhancing the experience for all players.
The ‘Trans Edition’ introduces three new Cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Additionally, two new Buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, along with two new Units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, expanding strategic options for players.
Existing Cruisers are not left behind, as they receive fresh customization options with three new Bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler. These kits allow players to tailor their Cruisers to their preferred playstyle.
In Skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the gameplay. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making the battles more immersive and personalized.
Balancing changes are widespread in this update. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate, which has increased from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health, which has risen from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret’s damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, requiring players to adapt their strategies.
Visually, Battlecruisers now features underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea itself has been given a new shading effect, and the visual impact of Cruiser and Ship deaths has been enhanced, making every victory more satisfying.

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The Trans Edition continues this tradition by adding more SideQuests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden somewhere in the South Pacific, adding layers of intrigue and adventure.
Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game’s world is inhabited solely by robots engaged in construction and wage warfare. Players control their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to combat a formidable array of enemies.
