Zenless Zone Zero Unveils Exciting Event for 1.5 Update

A recent leak suggests Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 update will feature a new event incorporating a Fall Guys-style multiplayer platformer game mode. This temporary event, tentatively titled "Grand Marcel," is expected to arrive alongside the update's other additions, including the characters Astra Yao and Evelyn.

Version 1.4, released in December, introduced two new playable characters and an S-Rank Bangboo, along with two permanent battle-focused modes. However, Zenless Zone Zero has a history of introducing temporary, event-exclusive game modes that offer diverse gameplay experiences, such as the current "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event.

The leaked information, courtesy of community leaker Palito, showcases screenshots of the platformer stages, strongly resembling Fall Guys. While the event's duration is uncertain, it's anticipated to offer rewards such as Polychromes, complementing rumored additional free pulls for Version 1.5. Whether players will control their usual characters or Bangboo remains unclear.

This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events; Honkai Impact 3rd's 6.1 update featured a similar "Midnight Chronicle" event. Given the popularity of Zenless Zone Zero's Bangboo, it's possible players might control chibi versions of their characters or even the beloved Bangboo themselves.

Version 1.5, slated for January 22nd, is highly anticipated for the arrival of Astra Yao and Evelyn. Previous leaks also hinted at a character skin for Nicole and a potential Agent Story for Ellen. The addition of this platformer event promises to further diversify gameplay and enhance the overall experience.
