Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following Version 5.3's Natlan storyline conclusion, this update offers a smaller-scale Inazuma adventure. The flagship event, centered in Inazuma and featuring yokai, will prominently showcase Yae Miko.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character has been anticipated since late 2024, with leaks suggesting her potential as Inazuma's first Standard Banner addition. Version 5.4 beta testing confirmed this, revealing her abilities and intended role. As a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, she functions similarly to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. While Sucrose may excel in certain situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset in most Taser teams.
Mizuki's official reveal, slightly delayed from expectations, further unveiled her dual identity as a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse, alongside her established connection to Yae Miko. Her introduction is highly probable during the Inazuma flagship event, coinciding with a dedicated Story Quest in Version 5.4.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Post-Version 5.4, Mizuki will join the Standard Banner, prompting collectors to prioritize acquiring her Signature Weapon.
In contrast to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined experience. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, Primogem acquisition will be below average. Players should strategically allocate their Lantern Rite rewards, particularly if aiming for highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
