Wuthering Waves Unveils Phoebe and Brant as Next 5-Star Rinascita Characters

The highly anticipated Version 2.1 of Wuthering Waves will introduce two new 5-Star Rinascita characters: Phoebe and Brant. While their exact weapon types and elements remain unconfirmed, lore suggests Phoebe will be a Spectro unit and Brant a sword wielder. Both are expected to significantly impact future updates.

Following the successful launch of Version 2.0, which included the 5-Star Glacio pistol-wielding Carlotta and the upcoming Havoc unit Roccia, the addition of Phoebe and Brant further expands the Rinascita roster. The phased rollout suggests Phoebe's banner will likely debut in Phase 1 of Version 2.1, with Brant following in Phase 2. Zani, previously teased, is expected to be the final Rinascita character to join the playable lineup.

Phoebe, an Acolyte of the Order of the Deep, is described as devout yet joyful. Brant, Captain of the Fool's Troupe (Roccia's troupe), maintains a carefree exterior while prioritizing his troupe's safety. Both characters' in-game appearances and story roles hint at their potential combat styles.

Version 2.0, ending around mid-February, also introduced a premium Jinhsi skin and a free Sanhua skin obtainable via an upcoming event starting January 23rd. Further additions to the Wuthering Waves roster beyond Phoebe, Brant, and Zani are rumored, but official confirmation is pending.
