Ubisoft's Recent Wins and Ongoing Challenges: An Update

Ubisoft has successfully addressed compatibility problems between several Assassin's Creed titles and the Windows 11 24H2 update. Games like Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, rendered unplayable on Windows 11 since Fall 2024, are now functional thanks to newly released patches. These updates were announced on the respective Steam pages.
Player response to the fixes has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the long-awaited solution. Importantly, the blame for the initial incompatibility rightly falls on Windows, not Ubisoft. Despite this positive development, user reviews for both games remain "Mixed."
