Warframe: 1999 Launches Techrot Encore - Rock Out Now!

May 08,2025 Author: Claire

The long-awaited Warframe: 1999's Techrot Encore update is finally here, and it's time to dive into a thrilling new chapter of the narrative. With the introduction of the 60th Warframe, Temple, joining the fray, players can look forward to fresh mission types and engaging new characters that enrich the game's universe.

For those adrenaline junkies out there, the update brings an exciting Atomicycle racing mini-game. But perhaps the standout feature for many will be the electrifying new music tracks that perfectly complement the new cosmetic skins and impressive weapons. And yes, you read that right—there are even boy band boss fights to look forward to!

Our previous coverage highlighted what to expect, including deepening relationships with new characters like Flare (Temple), Minerva (Saryn), Velimir (Frost), and Kaya (Nova) through the expanded K.I.M. conversation system. The update also introduces a host of quality-of-life improvements, such as reworked Pseudo Exalted Abilities, fewer waves in Defense missions, and enhanced replayability for The Duviri Paradox and The Hex quests.

yt"Getting to extend that experience in Techrot Encore with more '90s nostalgia, more Protoframes, more original music, and the most requested addition in recent memory, the Technocyte Coda, is just as exciting for us as it is for players," says Rebecca Ford, Creative Director.

If you're on the lookout for more freebies, be sure to check out our list of Warframe codes. And if you're eager to join the fun, you can download the game for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases available.
