Embark on a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to locate Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, and reap the rewards!
This guide details how to complete the "Lackey" side quest, starting with Zlata at Vostatek's residence west of Tachov, or directly with Vitek nearby (slightly southeast of the house). The quest leads you north, where you'll encounter wolves attacking Vostatek.
After rescuing Vostatek, help him to his campsite where Pepik was last seen. However, Pepik is gone! Follow the trail of clues, carefully examining each one along the path. This leads you to a poacher's camp.
Pepik is at the rear of the poacher's camp. Strategically engage the poachers; taking them out individually or in small groups is easier than a full-on assault. Some will surrender, allowing you to potentially avoid a fight. You can even ride off with Pepik before engaging the tougher poachers in the camp.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can then choose to ride with him back to his home (a fast travel option). Your reward: a generous sum of Groschen and access to his home as a resting place.
With Pepik returned and your coffers fuller, continue your adventures in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pursuing other quests or romances, and purchasing necessary equipment.
