Invincible Season 3: New Voice Actors, Villain Predictions, and Oliver's Accelerated Growth

Prime Video recently unveiled the exciting new voice cast joining Invincible Season 3, including Aaron Paul as Powerplex, John DiMaggio as The Elephant, and Simu Liu as Multi-Paul. However, the most intriguing additions are the enigmatic Jonathan Banks and Doug Bradley, whose roles remain shrouded in secrecy. This strategic silence likely aims to preserve major plot twists.

Speculation abounds regarding Banks and Bradley's characters. Given Banks' prowess in portraying hardened villains, Conquest seems a strong contender. This powerful Viltrumite, introduced in Invincible #61, presents a formidable challenge for Mark Grayson, setting the stage for a brutal confrontation foreshadowed in Season 2.

For Bradley, two compelling possibilities exist: Dinosaurus, an environmentally-conscious villain from Invincible #68, or Grand Regent Thragg, the overarching antagonist of the comic series. Bradley's distinctive voice could add significant depth to either role. Dinosaurus, while visually cartoonish, presents a morally complex character, while Thragg, the powerful ruler of the Viltrumite Empire, represents a monumental threat to Mark and Earth.

Season 3 also features a significant development for Oliver Grayson, Mark's half-brother. Oliver's accelerated aging, a result of his Viltrumite-Thraxan heritage, will see him transition from toddler to preteen, necessitating a recast with Christian Convery. This rapid maturation coincides with the emergence of his powers, leading him to adopt the moniker Kid Omni-Man and become a potential ally, albeit a potentially vulnerable one, for Invincible.

The introduction of Oliver adds another layer of complexity to Mark's role as a hero, forcing him to balance his own struggles with the responsibility of mentoring his powerful, yet inexperienced, sibling.
