TouchArcade's Weekly Update Roundup: Notable Game Updates
Hello and welcome to another week of noteworthy game updates! This week's list features a healthy dose of matching puzzle games (Shaun's doing his thing again!), alongside some exciting releases and substantial updates. Peglin (Free): This week's coveted UMMSotW award goes to Peglin! Version 1.0 introduces Cruciball challenges up to level 20, a new Slime Hive mini-boss, and numerous bug fixes, balance adjustments, and overall improvements.
Brawl Stars (Free): Get ready for Brawl Stars time! SpongeBob SquarePants is joining the fray in a new event. Plus, expect the arrival of two new Brawlers – Moe (Mythic) and Kenji (Legendary) – and several new Hypercharges. These additions will roll out over the coming months.
stitch. (Paid): More Hoops await in the latest stitch. update! This update introduces a new set of puzzles with a martial arts theme (sort of). More puzzles mean more satisfying gameplay.
Genshin Impact (Free): Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch has arrived! Explore the new Natlan region and meet three new characters: Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina. Expect new weapons, events, stories, and artifacts.
Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure (Apple Arcade): One hundred new levels are added to this matching puzzle game spin-off, along with refreshed tournaments.
Jetpack Joyride 2 (Apple Arcade): Barry Steakfries blasts off into space in this update! The game's setting is now space, a welcome change of pace.
Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop (Paid): New character episodes for Sig, Carbuncle, and Rafisol are added to Adventure Mode, along with playable character Meena and seven new music tracks.
Hearthstone (Free): Battlegrounds Season 8, "Trinkets & Travels," is here, introducing the Trinket Shop and new Trinkets that impact gameplay.
Toon Blast (Free): Fifty new levels are available in a new episode featuring bees and happiness.
Royal Match (Free): One hundred new levels and a new jousting arena are added. King Robert's fate remains uncertain.
