The God of all Pokemon, Arceus, has made an early entrance into *Pokemon TCG Pocket*, the digital card game, bringing with it a host of synergistic Pokemon that enhance its gameplay. Here, we'll explore the best Arceus Ex decks currently dominating the *Pokemon TCG Pocket* meta.
Arceus Ex boasts an ability that renders it immune to status conditions like Sleep and Confused. Its Ultimate Force attack, which requires 3 Colorless energy, deals 70 damage plus an additional 20 for each benched Pokemon, culminating in a whopping 130 damage when fully powered up.
Arceus Ex synergizes excellently with eight different Pokemon from the Triumphant Light expansion pack, each equipped with a unique "link" ability that activates when either an Arceus Ex or a regular Arceus is in play. These include:
Among these, Crobat, Magnezone, and Heatran stand out as particularly powerful. Let's delve into the details of an Arceus Ex deck for each of these Pokemon.
This deck features dual primary attackers in Crobat and Arceus Ex. With an Arceus Ex in play, Crobat can deal 30 damage to your opponent’s Active Pokemon from the bench. It also hits for 50 damage with just one Dark energy, making it a fantastic complement to Arceus Ex, which you'll want to power up with three Colorless energies.
With Arceus Ex fully powered on the bench, you can retreat Crobat into it at no cost due to its zero retreat cost, allowing you to hit your opponent for 130 damage with a full bench. Farfetch’d adds pressure, and Spiritomb spreads damage across your opponent’s bench, setting up for knockouts with Cyrus.

In this deck, Arceus Ex is the primary attacker, backed up by both versions of Magnezone. The Triumphant Light Magnezone takes -30 damage when Arceus Ex is around, while the Genetic Apex version deals 110 damage, contingent on using Magneton’s Volt Charge ability at least once before evolving. Note that the Genetic Apex Magneton requires Electric energy, so timing your evolution is crucial.
To maximize Arceus Ex's 130 damage potential, Skarmory, along with 2x Giant’s Cape and a single Rocky Helmet, are included. The Giant’s Capes provide durability for both Dialga Ex and Arceus Ex while powering up Skarmory.
This deck offers a high-cost, aggressive Fire-type strategy reminiscent of the classic Ninetails Blaine deck. Early threats come from Heatran, Rapidash, and Farfetch’d, which require minimal energy to activate, while Arceus Ex powers up on the bench. Giant’s Cape helps keep Heatran alive and pushes Arceus Ex over the 150 HP threshold.
With Arceus Ex in play, Heatran can retreat for free, allowing for flexible Pokemon swapping at a low energy cost. Its Ragin’ Fury attack deals 80 damage for two Fire energies if Heatran has been damaged; otherwise, it deals 40 damage, which can still be impactful early in a match.
As the meta evolves, more strategies involving Arceus Ex will likely emerge. For now, these are the top-performing Arceus Ex decks in *Pokemon TCG Pocket*.
