Tony Hawk Pushes for Underground Remake

If you're eager for a revival of Tony Hawk's Underground, you're in good company — Tony himself is actively "campaigning" for a remake.

"I'm always hopeful," Hawk shared with ScreenRant. "It's not my call to make. I'll advocate as much as I can, but I'm collaborating with a much larger company that knows more than I do."

When asked if Activision had hinted at future plans following the release of Pro Skater 3 + 4, Hawk played it coy, saying: "We haven't even launched this game yet!"

Tony Hawk's Underground, released in 2003, earned a stellar 9.2 review score from us for its "near-perfect" level design and "exceptional gameplay." It was the first in the series to let players dismount their boards and explore expansive levels on foot.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is slated for release on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One on July 11, 2025.
