Thermaltake's Intel Arc, RTX 5060 PCs Start at $999

Dec 12,2025 Author: Natalie

Looking to upgrade your gaming PC for modern 1080p or 1440p gaming while staying under $1,000? Thermaltake offers two compelling choices. First is the Thermaltake LCGS View Gaming PC, featuring an Intel Core i5 processor and Intel Arc B580 graphics card, available for $999.99 with free shipping. The Intel Arc B580 stands out as one of the best budget GPUs we've tested recently, delivering solid, playable frame rates at resolutions up to 1440p. It outperforms the GeForce RTX 4060 and Radeon RX 7600 in numerous titles. Alternatively, the Thermaltake LGSP Quartz i1460 Gaming PC comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU for $1,099.99. This prebuilt system is currently on preorder and won't ship until next week at the earliest, as the RTX 5060 GPU officially launches on May 19, and reviews are still pending.

The Thermaltake View i1458H-270 includes an Intel Core i5-14400F CPU, Intel Arc B580 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5600MHz memory, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Built entirely with standard components, this PC is straightforward to upgrade down the line. The 14th generation Intel Core i5-14400F processor reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 4.7GHz, featuring 10 cores, 16 threads, and a 20MB cache. This capable gaming CPU won't bottleneck the GPU, and moving to a higher-end processor wouldn't significantly boost gaming performance. It's cooled by a 120mm ARGB tower heatsink and fan combination, all housed in a Thermaltake View 270 mid-tower case.

The Intel Arc B580 delivers impressive gaming performance for a budget-friendly graphics card. It's an excellent choice for both 1080p and 1440p gaming, surpassing other popular GPUs in its price range. While Intel's Battlemage GPU might not be as recognizable as offerings from Nvidia and AMD, it represents outstanding value in a market often characterized by inflated prices, paper launches, and artificial performance claims.

Intel Arc B580 Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"Throughout my testing, the Intel Arc B580 proved to be a remarkably powerful graphics card at 1440p, especially given its $249 price point. Intel could have simply matched the performance of competing cards, but it instead decisively outperforms them while lowering the cost, finally giving us a budget GPU that doesn't disappoint. Sure, it would have been nice if Intel had kept the 16GB VRAM from the Arc A770 instead of reducing it to 12GB on the B580, but performance doesn't seem to suffer as a result."

$1,099.99 at Amazon

If you prefer sticking with Nvidia, Amazon has listed the Thermaltake LGSP Quartz i1460 prebuilt gaming PC, which includes the upcoming GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. The RTX 5060 is scheduled to launch on May 19, and reviews are not yet available. It's reasonable to expect this card will at least outperform the RTX 4060, potentially placing it on par with or ahead of the Intel Arc B580. For a $100 premium over the Intel Arc B580 model, it could be a worthwhile investment for 1440p gaming, though at that price you might also consider an RTX 5060 Ti (16GB) prebuilt system for around $1,200. In any case, Amazon doesn't charge your card until your order is shipped.
