Supergaming\'s Indus surpasses 11 million pre-registrations and introduces new 4v4 deathmatch mode

Feb 08,2025 Author: Adam

Indus, India's homegrown battle royale game, introduces a thrilling new 4v4 deathmatch mode. This addition follows another significant milestone: the game has surpassed 11 million pre-registrations. Despite this success, a full release date remains unconfirmed, with the game currently in closed beta.

Supergaming's Indus, designed specifically for the Indian market, features the classic battle royale elements alongside innovative additions such as a Grudge system that rewards players for engaging rivals.

Initially announced in 2022, Indus has undergone multiple beta phases, steadily expanding its features and attracting a growing player base. This consistent growth is promising, given India's booming mobile gaming market.

While surpassing 11 million pre-registrations is a remarkable achievement for Indus, the growth rate has somewhat plateaued. The previous milestone of 10 million registrations was reached in March, indicating a slower increase in recent months.

Anticipation for Indus' public launch is high. Although the addition of new features is always appreciated, the speculated late-2023 release date has passed. Hopefully, 2024 will bring a full release or at least a public beta.
