Rocksteady Studios has released the final major content update for its live-service title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Season 4 Episode 8, titled "Balance," is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This marks the end of new content development for the game, though online features will remain active.
Launched in February 2024 to mixed reception, the game's live-service model contributed to its relatively short lifespan. Rocksteady announced the end of support on December 9, 2024, with Season 4 Episode 8 as the concluding chapter. Despite this, players can still enjoy the game's online features and content with friends.
Season 4 Episode 8 introduces significant additions:
Offline Play Enabled: Thanks to a previous update (Season 4 Episode 7), players can now experience the game's content, including the main campaign and seasonal missions, offline. This ensures continued accessibility even if servers are eventually shut down.
PlayStation Plus Availability: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is currently available on PlayStation Plus until February 3rd, offering a chance for new players to experience the game.
Patch Notes Summary (Season 4 Episode 8):
