Baki's Baki Joins Two Strikes on Crunchyroll Game Vault

  • Crunchyroll: Two Strikes is now available on iOS and Android
  • Baki Hanma appears as an exclusive guest fighter
  • Engage in hand-drawn 2D combat where every strike can be fatal

Crunchyroll Game Vault continues to expand its collection of excellent mobile releases. This time, the 2D fighter Two Strikes joins the service. Crunchyroll is leveraging its anime streaming heritage by featuring Baki Hanma from the series of the same name as an exclusive guest fighter in Two Strikes!

For those unfamiliar, Baki the Grappler is a true fever dream of a series. It amplifies every martial arts trope to the extreme, following Baki Hanma, son of the world's strongest man. Whether battling escaped convicts, fighting a giant imaginary praying mantis, or facing a thawed-out caveman, Baki's adventures become even more absurd by taking place in the "real world."

Now, Baki enters the strategic 2D action of Two Strikes. In this black-and-white, hand-drawn fighter, you have minimal health. The key is to position yourself carefully, block attacks, and wait for an opening to defeat your opponent with a single, decisive move.

Baki is a perfect addition to this release, demonstrating Crunchyroll's intelligent use of the franchises available on their platform. While Netflix and Disney Plus have secured some major releases lately, Crunchyroll remains the premier destination for top anime content worldwide.

Beyond that, Two Strikes is a compelling release in its own right. Its relatively simple concept works seamlessly on mobile devices, just as effectively as on any other screen.

Speaking of intriguing new releases, have you ever wondered what exists beyond the iOS App Store and Google Play? Explore our regular Off the AppStore feature, where Will Quick delves into standout titles like Shattered Pixel Dungeon, providing in-depth coverage in this week's installment!
