Stellar Blade's crossover DLC with NIKKE has unleashed internet meme phenomenon Doro onto players. Dive into everything fans need to know about this unexpected chibi-dog appearance and what the collab expansion offers.
The hype train has left the station for SHIFT UP's NIKKE-themed DLC, dropping a bombshell trailer that's set the internet ablaze. Uploaded May 22, eagle-eyed viewers immediately spotted fan-favorite meme character Doro making a scene-stealing cameo.
The chaotic little gremlin bursts onto screen near the trailer's climax, pulling off signature poses and antics alongside protagonist Eve before breaking into infectious laughter. This marks the meme's official animation debut, bringing months of fan art and inside jokes full circle.
Doro's unlikely origin story began with Soulworker fan art before conquering NIKKE communities as "Dororong." The energetic canine's unpredictable charm transcended languages, earning nicknames like "Gremlin Dorothy" internationally. Even SHIFT UP's CEO couldn't resist, famously posing with a holiday Doro plush earlier this year.
The crossover extravaganza drops June 11 - coinciding with Stellar Blade's PC debut on Steam. Players can look forward to:
• An intense boss battle against NIKKE's Scarlet
• Fresh cosmetic rewards including outfits/hairstyles
• A shooting-inspired mini-game paying homage to NIKKE's core gameplay
• Fishing mechanics featuring six collectible items
• Exclusive shop run by NIKKE's robotic companion Volt
This content-packed DLC comes included with the Ultimate Edition, though specific reward details remain under wraps. One thing's certain - SHIFT UP has crafted what promises to be a must-play event celebrating both franchises.
