Split Fiction will be the first Hazelight game with crossplay support

Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming industry with its unique approach to co-op gameplay. Their signature "Friends Pass" system, requiring only one purchase for two-player experiences, remains a distinctive feature, setting them apart from the competition. While past titles lacked cross-play, a feature seemingly ideal for their collaborative focus, this limitation is now a thing of the past.

Excitingly, Split Fiction will fully embrace cross-play functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The beloved Friends Pass system returns, ensuring that only one player needs to buy the game for a shared experience; however, both players will still require an EA account.

Adding to the anticipation, Hazelight has unveiled a playable demo. This allows potential players to sample the gameplay together, with the added bonus of progress carrying over to the full game.

Split Fiction promises a journey through diverse environments, yet its core remains centered on exploring the complexities and nuances of human relationships. The game's launch is rapidly approaching – March 6th – and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
