Sphere Defense Is a New TD Game Inspired by geoDefense

Sphere Defense: A Classic Tower Defense Experience on Android

Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a new tower defense game for Android, drawing inspiration from the timeless geoDefense by David Whatley. The developer, a fan of the original, aimed to recreate its elegantly simple yet challenging gameplay.

The Game's Premise:

Earth, or "The Sphere," faces imminent destruction from alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, has developed new technology to fight back. Years of struggle have finally yielded sufficient firepower to launch a counteroffensive, and you're at the helm, tasked with saving the planet.

Gameplay:

Sphere Defense faithfully adheres to the classic tower defense formula. You strategically deploy various units, each with unique strengths, to repel waves of enemies. Successful engagements reward you with resources to expand and upgrade your defenses. The difficulty increases the strategic depth required for victory.

Difficulty Levels & Length:

Three difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard) are available, each featuring 10 stages. Expect each stage to last between 5 and 15 minutes.

Gameplay Video:

Diverse Turret Arsenal:

Sphere Defense offers seven distinct unit types for strategic deployment:

  • Standard Attack Turret: Single-target damage.
  • Area Attack Turret: Deals damage to groups of enemies.
  • Piercing Attack Turret: Effective against linear enemy formations.
  • Cooling Turret: Provides support to enhance attack unit effectiveness.
  • Incendiary Turret: Adds extra damage to your attack units.
  • Fixed-Point Attack Unit: Precise missile strikes.
  • Linear Attack Unit: Satellite laser attacks.

Download Sphere Defense from the Google Play Store and experience this engaging tower defense game. For more gaming news, check out our coverage of CarX Drift Racing 3's new features on Android.
