IDW's enduring Sonic the Hedgehog comic series recently celebrated a significant achievement with the release of its 75th issue. Sonic the Hedgehog #75 depicted the final confrontation between Team Sonic and the antagonist Clutch, setting the stage for the suspenseful follow-up arc, "Scattered Pieces."
"Scattered Pieces" unfolds across issues #76-80. With issue #76 already available, IGN proudly presents an exclusive preview of artwork from the penultimate chapter of this storyline, showcased at IGN Fan Fest. The slideshow below features three distinct covers for Sonic the Hedgehog #79, alongside previously unveiled "Scattered Pieces" covers.
Sonic the Hedgehog #79, written by series veteran Ian Flynn, boasts interior art and the main cover by Adam Bryce Thomas, complemented by variant covers from Tyler Mcgrath and Nathalie Fourdraine.

The long-standing conflict between sharpshooter Whisper and the shadowy assassin Mimic reaches its explosive culmination!

Flynn shared with IGN, "IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog has thrived for seven years, developing unique storylines, characters, and narrative threads. Many of these elements converged in Evan Stanley's recent arc. Reaching a story's climax is always rewarding, but I'm equally excited to explore what follows. Many fans will be wondering 'What happens next?' My arc addresses this, offers some resolutions of my own, and sets the stage for Evan's next major arc in the series."
Sonic the Hedgehog #76 is currently available, with issue #77 slated for release on March 19. Pre-orders are available at your local comic book store (find your local shop here).
