The Bug Out event is making a comeback in Pokémon Go, introducing a surge of Bug-type Pokémon and the debut of both Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. From March 26th to 30th, this event offers plentiful wild encounters, raid battles, bonuses, and fresh challenges to keep trainers engaged.
During Pokémon Go's Bug Out event, Lure Modules will be especially useful. They will attract Sizzlipede and also increase the number of Pokémon appearing at a PokéStop if a certain number are caught using a single Lure Module.
Additionally, you can earn double XP and bonus Candy for making Nice, Great, or Excellent Throws, with an increased chance to earn Candy XL for trainers level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will also enjoy improved odds of encountering a Shiny Wurmple or Shiny Venipede.
Bug-type Pokémon will be abundant in the wild, with frequent sightings of species like Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Lucky trainers may even find a Cutiefly.

Meanwhile, Sizzlipede will be available in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while three-star raids will feature Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks rewards trainers with Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.
