Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for the launch of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, and Niantic has shared all the exciting details. Set to begin on March 6th, 2025, this season promises new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and new monsters to hunt.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the season officially starts, players can look forward to a special treat: the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its grand debut before its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When Season 5 kicks off, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the fray, adding more variety to your hunts.
Weapon balance is getting a significant update to enhance the viability and enjoyment of each weapon type. The Sword & Shield will see a buff that simplifies targeting breakable parts like tails, making it more effective. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with stronger performance, resulting in more satisfying combos.
Additionally, the Guard skill is receiving a substantial boost. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will significantly reduce the damage taken when blocking. More detailed tweaks will be unveiled in the full patch notes on March 6th.
And There Is More!
If you often struggle with an overflowing inventory, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 has good news for you. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 slots to help manage your gear and resources.
As part of Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This feature will allow you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for fantastic rewards. Expect to see items like Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards available for trade.
So, get ready for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store.
