SD Gundam G Generation Eternal: US Network Test Announced!
Contrary to the lack of news since 2022, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is alive and well! A network test is scheduled, opening the doors to players in the US, in addition to Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. Applications are now open until December 7th, offering 1500 lucky participants a sneak peek from January 23rd to 28th, 2025.
This latest strategy JRPG in the popular franchise lets players command a vast roster of pilots and mecha from the iconic Gundam universe. The SD Gundam series, known for its "super deformed" (smaller, stylized) versions of classic mecha, boasts an incredibly extensive cast of characters and mobile suits. At one point, its popularity even surpassed the original Gundam line!
A US Debut
Gundam fans are sure to eagerly anticipate this new SD Gundam title. While Bandai Namco's Gundam game releases have had a somewhat inconsistent track record in the past, hopes are high that SD Gundam G Generation Eternal (a mouthful, indeed!) will be a standout success.
