This specific model is configured with a stunning 15-inch 2560x1600 165Hz OLED display, an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card, 16GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The standout feature is undoubtedly the brilliant OLED screen. Beyond being a true OLED panel, it boasts an enhanced 2.5K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR 600 True Black certification, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 5.1GHz with 16 total cores. According to PassMark benchmarks, it currently ranks as the fourth-best Intel laptop CPU, delivering performance comparable to the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX.
The mobile RTX 5070 GPU delivers approximately 5% to 10% better performance than the previous-generation RTX 4070. While this generational leap isn't massive, the RTX 5070 also supports multi-frame generation technologies. This means the performance gap will widen significantly in games that utilize DLSS 4.0. It provides ample power for running most modern games smoothly at the display's native 2560x1600 resolution. For a more substantial performance boost, the next step up is the RTX 5070 Ti, which offers a more noticeable upgrade. Another model featuring this GPU is currently on sale for $1,860, but the $600 price increase may not be justifiable depending on the games you primarily play.
