Sony launched its September 2025 State of Play broadcast with the reveal that Housemarque's highly anticipated follow-up to Returnal, titled Saros, will arrive exclusively on PlayStation 5 on March 20, 2026.

Saros retains the frenetic, bullet-hell combat that defined the original, while introducing new mechanics such as the Second Chance system, the Soltari Shield, and powerful Power Weapons.
