Redmagic has unveiled their latest 9S Pro smartphone in China

An international launch is on the horizon

So what standout features does this sleek new device offer?

Mobile gaming brand Redmagic has introduced their newest smartphone, the 9S Pro, in China. An international rollout is imminent and expected to be officially announced on July 16th. The device features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, UFS 4.0 storage, and LPDDR5X memory. It comes in four variants, with storage options reaching up to 24+1TB.

We’ve previously explored several Redmagic products, including their charging accessories and cooling solutions. This time is no different—stay tuned in the coming days for a full review of what the 9S Pro can deliver.

All that power, but will there be enough space to use it?

The main concern that might arise with the 9S Pro, despite its impressive performance in a compact form, is whether current mobile games will fully utilize its capabilities. Apple has already managed to bring next-gen titles like Resident Evil 7 & \* and Assassin's Creed Mirage to their devices.

Meanwhile, the Redmagic Pro is expected to run existing mobile favorites such as MiHoYo’s portfolio of games, as well as high-quality titles like Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. For a device priced near the upper end of £500—comparable to the 9 Pro—this may not be enough for some gamers.
