PS5 Release Rescheduled: Botany Manor Unveils Latest Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th

After a brief delay, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles on January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions were postponed to allow for further refinement and polishing, ensuring a top-tier player experience.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 launch. The game's unique blend of relaxing gameplay, magical plant cultivation, and charming English countryside setting resonated with critics and players alike, earning widespread praise and solidifying its position as a standout puzzler of 2024. Its impressive "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100, 92% recommendation) underscores its critical success.

The delay, announced just before the original December release date, was met with understanding from fans eager for a polished product. The January 28th launch date, confirmed on January 9th, 2025, fulfills Whitethorn Games' promise of a 2025 release. While a PS Store page is still pending, PS4 and PS5 owners can anticipate a price point of $24.99, consistent with other platforms. The game will remain a one-time purchase, free from microtransactions, though the digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on PlayStation.

Enhancing PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup

Botany Manor's arrival significantly strengthens the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its charming aesthetic, clever puzzles, and immersive exploration offer a compelling experience that complements existing titles. With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially announced platforms.

While Balloon Studios' next project remains undisclosed, January 28th promises a diverse range of PlayStation releases, including Botany Manor, alongside Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
