Poppy Playtime Chapter 4: A Deeper Dive into the Horror

Get ready for the chilling conclusion! Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, subtitled "Safe Haven," is slated for release on January 30th, 2025, exclusively on PC. While console players will have to wait, the developers have indicated a potential future release on other platforms, mirroring the release strategy of previous chapters.

This next installment promises the darkest chapter yet, plunging players back into the eerie depths of the abandoned Playtime Co. factory. Expect a heightened level of scares, intricate puzzles, and a significant increase in challenge compared to its predecessors. Prepare to confront both familiar faces and terrifying new adversaries.

The main antagonist of Chapter 4 is revealed to be a mysterious Doctor, a character teased in the trailer and described by CEO Zach Belanger as a toy monster wielding unique advantages. Adding to the horror, players will also encounter Yarnaby, a new enemy characterized by a yellow, round head concealing a terrifying, toothy maw.

While the game's overall length is expected to be slightly shorter than Chapter 3 (around six hours), improvements in quality and optimization are anticipated.

System Requirements (Minimum and Recommended):

The good news is that the system requirements for "Poppy Playtime Chapter 4" are surprisingly modest, making it accessible to a wide range of PC gamers.

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i3 9100 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 or Radeon RX 470
