The Pokémon TCG Pocket Lapras EX Drop Event: A Comprehensive Guide
Pokémon TCG Pocket constantly expands its card collection through events, introducing new variants and cards. This guide details the Lapras EX drop event.
Event Duration:
The Lapras EX drop event runs from November 5th to November 18th, 12:59 a.m. Eastern Time. Players can battle for new card variants and the Lapras EX card. Additional rewards include Pack Hourglasses for opening more booster packs.
Event Participation:
Ensure your Pokémon TCG Pocket app is updated. Navigate to the Battles tab, select Solo, and choose the "Lapras EX Drop Event" category. Four AI battles using a Lapras EX deck are available. Each battle offers first-clear and chance rewards.

All decks are Water-type; a Lightning-type deck (like Pikachu EX) is highly effective. Only the Expert battle guarantees a Promo Pack.
Event Hourglasses:
Event stamina, consumed per battle, replenishes every 12 hours (up to five). Event Hourglasses refill stamina.
Recommended Decks and Strategies:
A Pikachu EX deck is highly recommended due to Lightning-type attacks' effectiveness against Water-type Pokémon. Substitute EX cards with less rare options (e.g., Helioptile/Heliolisk, Magnemite/Magneton) to meet challenge requirements.
Promo Pack Rewards:
Promo Packs contain one card each: Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, Butterfree, and Lapras EX (a new card variant). Lapras EX stats: 140 HP, Bubble Drain (2 Water Energy, 1 Colorless Energy, 80 damage, 20 HP heal), 3 Retreat Cost.
