What are Pokemon Vending Machines?
These aren't your average snack machines. Pokemon vending machines offer a selection of Pokemon merchandise, primarily focusing on the Trading Card Game (TCG). While initially tested in Washington in 2017, their popularity has led to a wider rollout across the US, often found in major grocery store chains. The machines feature vibrant designs and user-friendly touchscreens, allowing for easy browsing and credit card purchases. Each transaction includes charming Pokemon animations. Digital receipts are emailed, but returns are not accepted.
What Do They Sell?
Currently, most US Pokemon vending machines stock Pokemon TCG products, such as booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, and other related items. While stock varies, expect to find a mix of current and older releases. Unlike some earlier models, these machines generally don't sell plushies, apparel, or video games.

Currently, machines are available in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin. The website allows you to filter by state to find nearby locations within partner grocery stores like Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Frys, Kroger, Pick ‘n Save, Safeway, Smith’s, and Tom Thumb. Follow the Pokemon Center's location list to receive notifications about new machine installations. Note that distribution is currently concentrated in specific cities within each state.
