Pokémon Go Tour returns next year and we’re heading to the Unova region this time

The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is back in 2025, bringing the excitement of the Unova region to life! This year's tour offers both in-person and global experiences.

February's in-person events, running from the 21st to the 23rd, will be held in two exciting locations: New Taipei Metropolitan Park, Taiwan, and Rose Bowl Stadium, Los Angeles. These ticketed events ($25 USD in LA, NT$630 in Taipei) promise unique gameplay, seasonal themes, legendary storylines, and a plethora of Pokémon encounters. A special Masterwork Research task will allow players to encounter Shiny Meloetta for the very first time. An optional Egg-thusiast ticket add-on unlocks additional bonuses, including Shiny Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant from 10km Eggs.

Shiny Deerling, the seasonal Pokémon, will also debut, its appearance varying by habitat, presenting a rewarding collecting challenge. A Special Research story focusing on the fate of the world and the heroic duo Reshiram and Zekrom awaits intrepid trainers.

For those unable to attend the in-person events, a global event will take place on March 1st and 2nd. This free, ticket-less event will offer all the Unova-themed content, though a week later than the in-person celebrations.
