Pokémon Go debuts new Grow Together ticket to give new players a boost, for a price

Feb 21,2025 Author: Jason

Pokémon Go introduces a new "Grow Together" ticket to accelerate player progression. Priced at $4.99, this limited-time ticket (available July 17th, 10:00 a.m. to September 3rd, 10:00 a.m. local time) offers a significant XP boost.

The ticket provides 5x XP for the first daily PokéStop spin and includes a Premium Timed Research task. This research unlocks premium items and encounters with Pokémon possessing unique evolution criteria. Gifting options are available for Great Friends and above, with PokéStore purchases receiving two bonus eggs.

Is it worthwhile?

The ticket's exclusivity to real-money purchase (no PokéCoins accepted) might be a deterrent for some. However, it offers a streamlined path to faster leveling and content access. The ultimate value depends on individual player engagement and investment in the game. If this isn't appealing, explore our curated list of the best mobile games of 2024 (so far) or our anticipated mobile game releases for alternative options.
