PlayStation Plus members will gain access to an exciting mix of new releases and beloved classics through the Extra and Premium catalogs, featuring iconic franchises like Resident Evil and Twisted Metal.
Sony unveiled the latest PS4 and PS5 additions to its rotating game library during June 2025's State of Play event. These titles will gradually launch throughout summer, with select games available on PlayStation Plus immediately upon release.
The standout title is Sword of the Sea, an ethereal exploration adventure where players glide across vibrant desert landscapes. Developed by Giant Squid (creators of Abzu and The Pathless), this visually stunning experience combines fluid movement mechanics with breathtaking environments. Extra and Premium subscribers can enjoy it free starting August 19, 2025.
On June 17, 2025, Premium members can dive into FBC: Firebreak - Remedy Entertainment's fresh take on the Control universe. Alongside these modern experiences, the Classics Catalog will introduce retro gems including seminal titles from gaming history.
The Classics lineup features thrilling additions like Deux Ex, Twisted Metal 3 & 4, plus the survival horror masterpieces Resident Evil 2 and 3: Nemesis.
