How To Get Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Sleep

Get Ready for a Snowy Pokémon Sleep Holiday Event!

The Pokémon Sleep app is bringing back its winter holiday event, and this year it's bringing two adorable new Pokémon: Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix! Joining them will be Eevee sporting a festive Santa hat.

When to Catch Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix

The Holiday Dream Shard Research event runs the week of December 23rd, 2024. Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix will debut at 3 PM on December 23rd. Shiny versions of both will also be available. Expect boosted encounter rates throughout the event week.

Catching Pawmi

Pawmi, along with its evolutions Pawmo and Pawmot (Snoozing sleep type), will appear on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. To maximize your chances, aim for a Snoozing sleep type (a common, light sleep). A Balanced sleep type might also work, but with lower odds. Remember, you can only study their sleep styles through wild encounters, not evolutions.

Catching Alolan Vulpix

Alolan Vulpix and its evolution, Alolan Ninetails (Slumbering sleep type), are more elusive, appearing only on Snowdrop Tundra. To find them, you'll need to achieve a Slumbering sleep type (a deep sleep lasting at least 8 hours). While a Balanced sleep type is possible, it's less likely.

Best Island for the Event: Snowdrop Tundra

For the best chance to catch both Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, head to Snowdrop Tundra. However, be aware that this island often requires a strong team, so prepare accordingly!
