Path of Exile 2's Currency Exchange: Mastering Currency Conversions
Path of Exile 2's Currency Exchange is crucial for trading and crafting. It allows you to convert lower-tier currencies into higher-tier ones. However, exchange rates are dynamic and depend on the in-game market. This guide explains how to check these fluctuating rates.
Because PoE 2 currency exchange rates change constantly, reflecting market trends, the only reliable way to determine current rates is to check in-game.
Checking Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2
Access the Currency Exchange by interacting with the gambling vendor in any Act after reaching Cruel Difficulty. The exchange interface features two currency selection boxes.
Select the desired currency in the left box (the currency you want to obtain). For instance, to find the Divine Orb price, choose Divine Orb from the list.
In the right box, select the currency you possess and wish to exchange (from your inventory and stashes). Continuing the example, to see the Divine Orb's Exalted Orb equivalent, select Exalted Orb.
The conversion ratio will appear between the boxes. The displayed number of Exalted Orbs represents the cost of one Divine Orb.
This process is reversible. To convert a Divine Orb to Exalted Orbs, select Exalted Orb in the left box and your Divine Orb in the right.
Remember, rates are constantly updated, leading to significant hourly variations. Regularly checking allows you to capitalize on favorable exchange rates.
Note that if a specific currency combination isn't available (e.g., Divine Orbs for Scrolls of Wisdom), no ratio will be shown, and the exchange won't be possible.
