Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!
Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update on February 3rd: Rogue Frontier. This update focuses on a new faction – the Smugglers.
Outland Adventures:
The Smugglers, rebelling against the Royal Continent's strict laws, have established a presence in the Outlands. They operate from hidden underground locations known as Smuggler's Dens, which serve as convenient hubs for banking, repairs, and expedition planning. These dens are interconnected through the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace system spanning the Outlands.
Players can aid the Smugglers in their ongoing conflict with the Royal Guards. Tasks include rescuing captured Smugglers and delivering contraband within Smuggler Crates.
Rewards and New Features:
Loyalty to the Smugglers is rewarded by Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. Rewards include a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (with a potion cooldown reduction ability), a Smuggler's Ring, and an Avatar.
The update introduces Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The better the loot on the vanquished opponent, the higher the chance of obtaining a trophy.
