Nintendo has responded to a purported Nintendo Switch 2 mockup, created using 3D printing by accessory manufacturer Genki. Here is Nintendo's official statement on the matter.
Nintendo Confirms Mockup Is Not Official
No Switch 2 Hardware Provided to Genki

In response to alleged Switch 2 leaks connected to CES 2025, Nintendo issued a statement to CNET Japan and Japanese newspaper Sankei clarifying that "these images and videos are not official." The company emphasized that the hardware Genki presented as the Switch 2 is unofficial and was not supplied by Nintendo.
During the recent CES 2025 consumer electronics and IT trade fair, accessory maker Genki attracted attention by displaying a 3D-printed model of the eagerly awaited next-generation console, the Nintendo Switch 2. Reports suggest Genki representatives told journalists and attendees that they had access to a "real" Switch 2 prototype and even shared a potential release date.

Genki is a U.S.-based hardware company specializing in accessories for electronics and gaming consoles, including controllers, portable SSDs, and chargers. Their website even features a dedicated section for Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, showcasing an intricately animated mockup of the console in action.
That said, Nintendo has so far made no major announcements regarding the upcoming console, stating only that more information will be shared in the near future. The sole confirmed detail from Nintendo is that the Switch 2 will offer backward compatibility with the original Switch and its game library. Given the mounting speculation, the Japanese tech giant may feel compelled to make an official announcement soon.
