Here at Pocket Gamer, we often discover upcoming titles in unexpected ways. Sometimes a new release launches a sudden media campaign, or a major update brings it to our attention. But with Webzen's upcoming idle RPG MU: Pocket Knights, I believe this is the first time a logo has been our initial introduction!
All jokes aside, MU: Pocket Knights offers plenty more to be excited about beyond its stylish new logo. As you might have gathered, this title is a spin-off of the enduringly popular Korean RPG MU: Online, finally bringing the action into the idle RPG space.
MU: Pocket Knights aims to merge the relaxed progression and appeal of idle games with the deep content and character development that MU: Online fans have come to love. This means delivering the richness of a traditional MMORPG within the accessible idle format.
MU: Pocket Knights is also designed to welcome new players, not overwhelm them. This spin-off introduces a completely new group of charming characters, so longtime MU: Online fans won't see their favorite heroes turned into chibi versions, and newcomers can jump right in without prior knowledge.
Details about the launch are still limited, but Webzen plans to join the growing number of developers aiming for a simultaneous global release (excluding certain regions) right from the start. Keep an eye out—we'll share more updates as soon as we have them!
