Monster Hunter Wilds Announces Second Open Beta with New Content!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Don't despair! A second chance to hunt is coming in February, bringing with it exciting new additions. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed the news in a recent YouTube video.

This expanded Open Beta Test will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A key addition is the inclusion of the Gypceros, a fan-favorite monster from previous Monster Hunter titles.

Progress from the initial beta won't carry over, but character data will transfer to the full game upon release on February 28th, 2025. Participants will receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne weapon charm and a special bonus item pack.

Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating the team heard player requests for another opportunity to experience the game. While recent community updates detailed planned improvements, these won't be included in this beta phase, as they're still under development.
Get ready to sharpen your weapons! Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Happy hunting!
