Mobile Legends Sets 2025 Women's Esports World Cup

After one of the most thrilling finales in the 2024 Esports World Cup, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) is officially returning to Riyadh in July 2025. Last year, Smart Omega Empress staged a historic upset by defeating the long-dominant Team Vitality in the Grand Final, ending their three-year, 24-tournament winning streak.

This time, the stakes are even higher, with 16 of the world’s top all-women MLBB teams competing for glory and a record-breaking prize pool. Scheduled for July 15–19, MWI 2025 will begin with a double-elimination Group Stage involving all 16 qualified teams.

The top eight teams will move on to a single-elimination playoff bracket, where the remaining squads will battle for a share of the $550,000 prize pool, plus a $10,000 MVP bonus awarded to the tournament's most outstanding player.

This year’s qualification process is more expansive than ever, attracting elite talent from almost every region. Several strong contenders have already secured their spots, including DreamMax from the MWI 2025 LATAM Qualifiers, CFU Serendipity from Queen Legends Season 1, NAVI MY from the MYSG Qualifier, and Falcons Vega MENA from the Carry1st Africa Cup.

Additional slots will be filled through ongoing regional competitions such as BOG Season 1, Athena League, and Lady MVP Season 6, with qualifiers from China, North America, Mekong, Mongolia, and Türkiye concluding in the coming weeks.

The return of MWI is part of the broader Esports World Cup 2025, which brings together leading clubs from various games to compete in a unique cross-game championship. Smart Omega Empress returns as the defending champion, but with powerhouse teams from around the world in the mix, the outcome is anything but certain.
