How To Unlock Parabolic Microphone in Phasmophobia

The Parabolic Microphone comes in three tiers, each offering improved quality and reliability. To access the first tier, you must achieve Level 7 and then head to the shop to integrate it into your equipment loadout. The second tier becomes available at Level 31, requiring a $3,000 upgrade fee. Finally, the third and most advanced tier unlocks at Level 72, costing you $5,000 to upgrade.
Once unlocked, you're free to choose any tier of the Parabolic Microphone for your investigations, and you can equip up to two microphones in your loadout, regardless of your team size. Upon arrival, select the Parabolic Microphone from the equipment wall in the truck to equip it, similar to other items. Use the designated button to turn it on or off. If you're using the tier 3 version, you can also leverage its radar screen to pinpoint the direction of the sound.
The Parabolic Microphone is particularly useful on medium or large maps in *Phasmophobia*. It allows you to track the ghost's location through sounds like object movements, door actions, or ghostly voices, providing an alternative to traditional methods like using a temperature gauge or EMF Reader. Additionally, it can help you complete Optional Objectives that require capturing the ghost's voice.
