Master Strike Unveiled: A Guide for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Master the Master Strike in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for effortless combat! This powerful move significantly simplifies combat, especially in the early game. Here's how to unlock and utilize it.

Unlocking the Master Strike:

The Master Strike isn't available from the start. After completing the initial tutorial and gaining access to the open world, locate Bara the beggar in Troskowitz. She'll point you towards Tomcat, initiating the "Combat Training" side quest.

Find Tomcat at the Nomads' Camp (near the Cumans' Camp and Bozhena's Hut). Complete "Combat Training I," then save your game before tackling the considerably harder "Combat Training II." Defeating Tomcat in this second training session unlocks the Master Strike. Consider boosting your Strength stat beforehand to increase your chances of success. Saving before each attempt is highly recommended, as failure can leave Henry significantly weakened.

Utilizing the Master Strike:

The Master Strike is exclusive to sword combat. During a fight, observe your opponent's weapon stance. Position your sword in the opposite direction; if they attack from the left, hold your sword to the right.

As your opponent strikes, a green shield icon will briefly appear onscreen. Immediately press your attack button to execute the Master Strike. This flawlessly parries the incoming attack and launches an unblockable counterattack. Timing is crucial; ensure your sword is correctly positioned before initiating the attack.

Master Strike's Impact:

The Master Strike is a game-changer in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, making many combat encounters significantly easier.

This guide covers acquiring and using the Master Strike. For more Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 tips and strategies, including advice on the Wandering Drunk and romance options, check out The Escapist.
