Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a chilling Halloween update, adding spooky new characters and challenges to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
A Spooky Halloween Event in Marvel Contest of Champions
This update introduces Scream and Jack O’ Lantern as playable champions. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, and Jack O’ Lantern, with his sinister ability to transform victims, are set to enhance the thrills of the House of Horrors event. Players will join Jessica Jones to solve a dark mystery leading to a terrifying animatronic carnival.
The "Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt" side quest offers weekly challenges with branching paths, lasting from October 9th to November 6th.
10th Anniversary Celebrations
The Halloween event coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is celebrating with ten major reveals, including character reworks (Medusa and Purgatory) and the Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza, featuring an Alliance Super Season with bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the "Venom: Last Dance" event (October 21st to November 15th), is also part of the festivities. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 runs until October 30th, introducing new features that leverage buffs and critical hits.
60 FPS Update on the Horizon
A significant upgrade is the upcoming 60 FPS gameplay update, scheduled for November 4th, promising smoother, more fluid combat.
