Beta Testing Begins September 5

The first PlayStation 5 closed beta for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls was revealed during EVO VEGAS 2025. Arc System Works, Marvel Games, and PlayStation Studios confirmed the three-day testing period will run from September 5-7, 2025.

Players in PDT time zones can access the beta starting September 5, while JST and UTC participants begin September 6. Registration is available through the official PlayStation beta website.

Participants must have an active PlayStation Network account and internet connection. Selected testers will receive email invitations prior to the event.

The beta trailer unveiled several gameplay elements including six playable characters, online matchmaking, spectator mode, training tutorials, and additional content. EVO 2025 attendees experienced a playable demo alongside developer insights during the Combat Panel.

The beta will incorporate rollback netcode for optimal online performance. Virtual lobbies will allow players to navigate with Marvel-themed avatars while searching for matches or watching ongoing battles.
