The highly anticipated trailer for Disney's live-action Lilo & Stitch remake has finally dropped, giving fans their clearest look yet at Maia Kealoha's portrayal of Lilo alongside supporting stars Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles and Billy Magnussen as Pleakley.
While previous teasers showcased plenty of alien troublemaker Stitch, this trailer spotlights Kealoha's take on the beloved character originally voiced by Daveigh Chase in the 2002 animated classic.
We finally get to see serious-yet-endearing Cobra Bubbles in action alongside Zach Galifianakis' Jumba and Billy Magnussen's Pleakley. Interestingly, the trailer reveals Jumba and Pleakley initially appear disguised as their human actors rather than wearing clothes over their alien forms - though Pleakley's true extraterrestrial appearance flashes briefly.
The footage beautifully recreates iconic moments from the original film: Stitch descending like a shooting star toward Lilo, the mischievous experiment trying to pass himself off as a dog at the shelter, and of course, Lilo delivering her heartwarming "Ohana means family" speech.
Mark your calendars - Lilo & Stitch crashes into theaters on May 23, 2025, joining Disney's lineup of live-action reimaginings. It follows close behind Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, which arrives March 21.
