During Sony's State of Play 2025 broadcast, the much-anticipated prequel to the acclaimed souls-like action RPG, Lies of P, was officially announced. Titled Lies of P: Overture, this DLC expansion is set to launch in the summer of 2025 across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. A thrilling gameplay trailer was also unveiled, which you can view below.

Lies of P has been praised for its innovative take on the classic Pinocchio tale, blending it seamlessly with the challenging gameplay mechanics reminiscent of Bloodborne. Neowiz, the publisher of Lies of P, had previously hinted at the first DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. Remarkably, Lies of P sold one million copies in less than a month following its launch on September 18, 2023, across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC via Steam, and Mac via the Mac App Store.
