Swen Vincke, the head of Larian, took to Twitter to reflect on the studio's journey, highlighting the critical and commercial success of Baldur’s Gate 3. "But the story ain't over yet," Vincke hinted, sparking curiosity and anticipation among fans about what's next for the studio.

Earlier, in July 2023, Vincke mentioned to IGN that a sequel to the Divinity: Original Sin series is on the horizon, though not immediately. "It's our own universe we built, so we're definitely gonna get back there at some point," Vincke stated, acknowledging the need for a creative break after the exhaustive development of Baldur’s Gate 3.
