Obtaining Lapras EX in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Currently, a special event featuring Lapras EX is live in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Players battle AI opponents using water-type decks themed around Lapras to earn Promo Packs. These Promo Packs are your only source for Lapras EX.
Time is limited, so act fast! The event concludes on November 18th.
Each Promo Pack contains a single card, randomly selected from the following: Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, Butterfree, and Lapras EX. While the odds seem relatively even, obtaining Lapras EX depends entirely on luck. You might get it on your first pack, or it could take many more. For guaranteed Promo Packs, focus on the Expert difficulty stage. While all stages offer a chance at a Promo Pack, only Expert difficulty provides a guaranteed drop.
Completing all event stages rewards Event Hourglasses, allowing you to replenish your stamina and continue farming. If you have a Pikachu EX deck, you can even auto-battle the Expert stage, freeing you from constant active play.
If you're unlucky and miss out before the event ends, remember that trading is planned for a future update, offering another chance to acquire Lapras EX through player trades.
