How to Knock Out Enemies in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a stealthy approach is sometimes preferable to all-out combat. This guide details how to incapacitate enemies without killing them.

Knocking Out Enemies

Leaving a trail of corpses isn't always the best strategy. Knocking out enemies offers a less lethal alternative. Here's how:

  1. Crouch: Press the circle button to crouch and approach an NPC stealthily from behind.
  2. Knockout Prompt: A "Knock Out" prompt will appear in the bottom right corner when you're close enough. Press the indicated button.
  3. Timing is Key: A blue icon with swords will appear. Quickly press R2 to successfully knock out the NPC.
  4. Second Chance: If Henry fails the initial attempt, a shield icon will appear. Press L2 to restrain the struggling NPC and attempt the knockout again.
  5. Failure: Failing both attempts will likely lead to a fight.

Success depends on Henry's strength compared to the NPC's. The following perks improve knockout chances:

  • Tight Grip: Increases knockout success rate.
  • Sandman: Increases knockout success rate.

Stealth Kills

For a more decisive (and lethal) stealth approach, equip a dagger. The process is similar to knocking out: sneak up from behind, and the stealth kill prompt will appear.

This covers the basics of incapacitating enemies in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Check out The Escapist for more game tips, including information on obtaining Herb Paris and romancing Katherine.
