Beloved Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, has shared a moving message following a near-fatal incident. Last week, he was found "barely alive" in his Atlanta hotel room.
A video posted on his GoFundMe page, which has already raised an astounding $174,653 for medical expenses and outstanding bills, reveals Johnson was in a coma. He expressed profound gratitude for the outpouring of support: "I found out there's a lot of love in this world that I didn't know was out there, and I'm grateful to each and every one of you."

Johnson, also a Washington Capitals announcer, was in Atlanta for a National Alzheimer's Foundation benefit. His absence raised concerns, leading his wife, Kim Johnson, to contact the hotel. Security personnel and EMTs found him with a barely detectable pulse.
"Rumors of my demise weren't exaggerated. It was very close," Johnson admitted in the video. "But I'm still here because my wife called the hotel, and my son contacted security. They found me nearly dead."
He recounted his five-day coma and expressed heartfelt thanks to numerous individuals and organizations: the National Alzheimer's Association for supporting his family, Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonsis for a $25,000 donation, and close friends Bill Glasser and Shari Elliker for establishing the GoFundMe. He also extended his gratitude to Bethesda, who publicly voiced their support, and to his fans for their donations and well wishes.
"I love you all. I'm not going anywhere," Johnson stated. "It's going to be a while, but I'm coming back."
Johnson's extensive voice acting credits include a wide range of film and television roles, but he's particularly recognized for his contributions to Bethesda games. Recent roles include Ron Hope in Starfield, along with memorable performances as Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in Oblivion, several Daedric Princes in Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many others.
